Successful Trailer Launch of “Rhythm of Heritage: The Untold Story of Pandit Ram Mohan Maharaj.”  

The much-awaited trailer of “Rhythm of Heritage: The Untold Story of Pandit Ram Mohan Maharaj”, was launched in a grand ceremony graced by several renowned Bollywood celebrities. The event marked a significant moment for Indian cinema, celebrating the life and legacy of Pandit Ram Mohan Maharaj, the last living legend of Kathak. The film, directed by Harsh Mohan Mishra, the grandson of the iconic Kathak maestro Padma Shri Lt. Pt. Shambhu Maharaj, explores the struggles, sacrifices, and determination of Pandit Maharaj to preserve and propagate Indian classical art and heritage.  

The trailer, which gave a glimpse of Pandit Maharaj’s inspiring journey, received a thunderous response from the audience and celebrity attendees alike. Among the notable figures present were Padma Shri Anup Jalota, popularly known as the “Emperor of Bhajans,” along with actors Deepak Parashar, Kabir Sadanand, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Samiksha Bhatnagar, Kathak Queen Jayanti Mala Mishra, Arun Bakshi, and Sandip Soparrkar. They have also played an important role in this film.

Their admiration for the trailer underscored the emotional depth and artistic significance of the film. Many of these celebrities have also played vital roles in the film, lending their support to this tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage.  

Harsh Mohan Mishra, who directed the film with passion and dedication, shared his thoughts at the event: “This film is not just a biographical account of Pandit Ram Mohan Maharaj but also a heartfelt attempt to showcase the dying art of Kathak and the perseverance needed to keep it alive. It is my tribute to my family’s legacy and to all those who dedicate their lives to preserving classical arts.”

It has won prestigious awards, including the “Iconic Pride of India (Bharat Gaurav Award)”, “Indian Panorama International Film”, “Sri Lanka International Film Festival”, and “Tagore International Film Festival”. Adding to its laurels, it has been officially selected for prominent festivals such as the “Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival”, “Janakpur International Film Festival”, and “Jagran Film Festival”. These accolades underscore the film’s artistic value and its potential to leave a lasting impact on both national and international audiences.  

The narrative of the film is enriched by the contributions of a talented team. Produced by Smt. Parul Mishra and Mr. Pravarsen K Yesambare and the whole team of Shinning Pearl Entertainment, the film benefits from extensive research conducted by Rishika Mishra, who ensured that every detail of Pandit Maharaj’s life and Kathak’s historical essence was authentically portrayed. The cinematography, led by Sarfraz Ali Hasan Khan, captures the grandeur of Indian culture and the elegance of Kathak. The music, composed by Akash Seth and sung by the talented Rahul Clarke, adds an emotional depth to the storytelling, enhancing the audience’s experience. Creative Director Atul Bharadwaj has skillfully brought together the film’s artistic and narrative elements, ensuring it resonates with viewers across generations.
