Amidst mounting concerns of a perceived “erosion” of the level playing field and alleged “misuse” of central agencies, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is poised to issue a crucial advisory ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. A delegation representing the INDIA bloc recently approached the poll panel, highlighting the need for a fair and level electoral playing field. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, part of the INDIA bloc delegation and also representing Arvind Kejriwal in the ED case, underscored the significance of upholding the constitutional framework.
