Determined to seek recourse for the substandard product, the woman embarked on the path of customer service, intending to process a refund for the spoilt milk. Little did she know that her quest for reparation would lead her into the clutches of cybercriminals.
Exploiting her vulnerability, fraudsters posing as customer service representatives purportedly initiated contact, promising swift resolution and a refund for the spoiled milk. In a series of deceptive maneuvers, the unsuspecting victim was coerced into divulging sensitive banking information and OTP (One-Time Password) details under the guise of facilitating the refund process.
