Prime Video Unveils Indian Series “Citadel: Honey Bunny” Amidst Humorous Exchange and Star-Studded Event

Prime Video’s recent event in Mumbai was abuzz with excitement as it unveiled a plethora of original titles, including the much-anticipated Indian series “Citadel: Honey Bunny” starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan. However, amidst the announcements, a lighthearted moment stole the spotlight when host-filmmaker Karan Johar amusingly prevented Samantha from touching his feet on stage.

The incident sparked a playful banter between Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan, with Varun jokingly suggesting that everyone should touch Karan’s feet. However, Karan gracefully declined, humorously stating that he was finally over his midlife crisis and didn’t want to be reminded of his age. Varun then quipped about Karan’s youthful appearance, prompting Karan to assert that he had not undergone any cosmetic procedures.

The event showcased a diverse lineup of 40 original titles, spanning films and shows in various languages, alongside 29 licensed movies. Alongside “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” other notable announcements included Ananya Panday’s “Call Me Bae,” Bhumi Pednekar’s “Daldal,” and films like Abhishek Bachchan’s “Be Happy” and Anil Kapoor’s “Subedar.”

The star-studded affair saw the presence of industry heavyweights such as Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee, and renowned filmmakers like Farhan Akhtar, Vikramaditya Motwane, Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK, and Rohit Shetty, among others.

Overall, the event marked a significant milestone for Prime Video in India, reaffirming its commitment to delivering compelling content to a diverse audience across the country.
