Since its inception in 2023, Khar’s Affogato has been a beacon of delight for coffee and gelato enthusiasts in Mumbai. Founded by Shalini Rattan and renowned restaurateur Suren Joshi, this collaborative venture has captured the hearts and taste buds of customers from all over the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Origins and Inspiration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affogato’s journey began with a vision to blend the worlds of coffee and gelato into a singular, exquisite experience. Shalini Rattan, specializing in gelatos, and Suren Joshi, immersed in the realm of coffee with his chain of coffee shops, shared a passion for creating something unique. Inspired by the Italian dessert “affogato,” which combines espresso and gelato, they embarked on a mission to craft a space where people could relax, socialize, and indulge in the pleasures of coffee and gelato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
